Most sophisticated HR-V ever has been revealed.

Honda has revealed the first information for the 2019 Honda HR-V, and it’s Honda most sophisticated subcompact SUV to date. Updates include enhanced exterior styling, interior improvements and a range of advanced technologies.

On the outside, a new elegant exterior design takes centre stage, with a new high-gloss dark chrome panel with a deeper air intake front bumper, and new headlights with projector lenses and redesigned LED daytime running lights. The rear is also finished with dark chrome garnish located on the tailgate mirrors and rear light casings.

Higher grade models will include a new 17” alloy design, chrome exhaust tailpipe finisher and full LED light units.

The new HR-V will be available in eight exterior colour choices, including the addition of Midnight Blue Beam Metallic.

From the launch, the 2019 Honda HR-V will be available with the highly-efficient 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine in both manual and automatic transmissions, offering 130 PS, an average fuel economy from 53.2mpg and official average CO2 emissions of 121g for the CVT model.

Production of the 2019 model will start with deliveries commencing from October. A sportier, 1.5L VTEC turbo engine will follow from Spring 2019, alongside a 1.6L i-DTEC diesel engine.
