New Honda Civic Sport Line Embraces Type R Inspired Styling

Honda has introduced a new Sport Line model to its 2020 Civic line-up, featuring exterior design cues inspired by the acclaimed Type R. The new Sport Line model is available in a top of the range model EX - and adds assertive styling to the outstanding driving dynamics and practicality of the standard Civic.

Standout Sporty Design

The Civic’s distinctive design is enhanced on the Sport Line with the addition of front and side skirts, rear diffuser and a subtle rear spoiler paying homage to Honda’s sporting heritage. 17“ alloy wheels in a high-gloss, piano black finish further differentiate the Sport Line. The addition of full LED headlights and daytime running lights build upon the cleaner styling direction that will feature across the Civic line-up.

Adding to the range of existing colour options for all Civics, Sport Line can also be finished in a stand-out new paint finish, Obsidian Blue.

Interior Updates

As with the exterior design enhancements, a number of styling upgrades feature on the interior of the new Sport Line variants beyond those being introduced across the 2020 model year Civic range. New to the Sport Line is red stitching detail on the seats, steering wheel, gear shift boot and door panels whilst drilled aluminium pedals reflect Honda’s illustrious sporting heritage.
